It was already too hot and the summer isn't officially here yet. Decided to cool off in the hills. Went from murud to mulshi and was greeted with some fantastic piece of village B road tarmac. Realised how good the H450 is when the right set of tyres are used. Absolutely sublime. For anyone around that area, murud to tamhini via indranagar is highly recommended. Read more”

“Metzeler tyres I've done 75.000km on my F850GSA always using the Metzeler Tourance Next 2 tyres. I'll soon (maybe at the end of the summer) be changing again. I love those tyres, but I'm wondering if there's an option noticeably better. I need your opinions. Thanks.”

“Tyre Replacement Suggestions for 390 Adv (2023) I am currently using the stock Metzeler Tourance which has worker for a good 23k km. The tyre has started to wear off now. I want to replace them but I’m confused about replacing the same tyres. Tournce set is costing me around ₹25k for a pair. Whereas other options like Apollo, Reise Moto cost me around ₹6-9k max. I have no complaints and pretty happy with Tourance does the price difference justify. Looking for opinions from people who might have used both.”

“I know this is an old post of yours but just in case. I have a Metzeler Tourance NEXT2 150/70ZR18 rear tire on the front of my bike mounted in reverse. It's for a 160/60 18inch wheel setup, fat tire cruiser(Fat Boy 114). Absolutely excellent tire. And I will be buying another one here because this tire is everything I asked for for a front tire for my bike. I dont ride like a normal cruiser rider, I ride the hell out of my bike and use all of it. The tire wear slowly and yet is super grippy and feels nice. Excellent wet grip, excellent dry performance. The only downside is that they are low production I guess and its hard to find them. So let me buy one first, haha.”

“I’ve had two sets of the Metzelers on my Urban GS (R ninet) and they did great in the PNW. Always felt grippy and predictable, front lasts about 20k miles, rear 8-9k. I did replace my most recent rear with a RoadSix on a road trip due to a puncture and it’s indeed a louder tire from around 40-50mph. Make a weird noise. But that’s not a Dunlop. But overall we are living in a golden era of tires. Can’t really go wrong with either - mind you the metzeler is a 90/10 not an 80/20 imo. I would be happy to use another set of Tourance tires on my replacement bike.”
