“Price no object? Michelin 100%. I have the Generals right now and while they're fine for grip and what not, they are very noisy. I have Michelin X Ice winter tires, and even with the aggressive winter tread, they are considerably quieter than my g-max rs. However I paid about 700 CAD for my set of g-max a couple years ago. So for a price like that, I'm happy. Like anything, expect to get what you pay for.”

“General G-Max RS tires I know they just came out in February 2018 but was wondering if anyone else has had experiences with them yet. From what I’ve dug up, they’re OEM on the new Saleen Mustang. Rated at 360AA. I bring this up because that’s what the dealer has given me after an unfortunate alignment issue with my old tires. Yes I went to the dealer because I trust very few people to work on my car and can afford a little extra. So far these tires haven’t disappointed me but it’s day 1. Highway driving felt very smooth and I hugged the corners going faster than... everyone else. Later today I’m going to take my empty backroad and see how they are in tight turns. General announced these tires are UHP Summer tires meant to attract customers for track and autocross. The only thing that holds me back a little on the throttle is the price tag is SOOO cheap, which is exactly what they wanted. If you have experience with them go ahead and post up please. Read more”

“Just took the factory SC7’s off my gfs puma ST, they are super grippy, they feel even stickier than the PS4S on my car but I’d say they are less predictable at the limits and I always felt like they tramlined a bit too much and they weren’t a very comfortable tyre. Fronts have just under half their tread left after 11000 miles. Swapped em out for conti all season contact 2’s as she needs to be able to go out during any conditions and she doesn’t want to have two sets.”

“I've had PS4S and SC7 on my GR Yaris. Each at least 40k km. Grip levels; very similar, both wet and dry. Handling characteristics: PS4 slightly awkward on the limit (better after they warm up), Continental feels more progressive, like softer. The real difference is track wear. None of them should be driven on track for longer periods. 10min sessions are fine. If you go over it, Conti will dissintegrate in a few hours on track. PS4S might take almost double that the milage. I like both, so it comes to your preference considering Handling on the limit and price. I'd take Michelin if price on them is visibly less than double of Conti. “I’ve got SC7 SSRs on my MINI JCW (250hp, with 420nm torque FWD). And after 8000 miles, I’ve got 2.6mm at the front, and 4.5mm at the rear. Both are getting close to the legal UK limit, so I’ll probably get them changed out. The tyres definitely spin when not warmed up, and almost always spin in the rain. I’m definitely going to be switching to PS4S when I need to change them.”
